The Turkish Communist Party, known in Turkish as Türkiye Komünist Partisi (TKP), is a political party in Turkey that adheres to the principles of Marxism-Leninism. Founded in the early 20th century, it has undergone various transformations and reconfigurations over the years, reflecting the complex political and social history of Turkey, including periods of legality and illegality, due to Turkey's strict laws against certain political ideologies, including communism.

The core values of the Turkish Communist Party revolve around the establishment of a classless society,…   the abolition of private ownership of the means of production, and the end of capitalist exploitation. The party advocates for the rights of workers, aiming to unite the working class and lead it in the struggle against capitalism and imperialism. It seeks to address and eliminate the disparities in wealth and power that it sees as inherent in the capitalist system.

The TKP emphasizes the importance of international solidarity among the working class, aligning itself with the broader communist and socialist movements worldwide. It opposes imperialism, militarism, and neoliberal policies, advocating instead for peace, social justice, and environmental sustainability.

In terms of governance, the party supports the establishment of a socialist state where the means of production are owned and managed by the community as a whole. This, they argue, would ensure that the production and distribution of goods and services serve the needs of the population rather than the profit motives of private capitalists.

Despite the challenges it faces, including legal restrictions and political repression, the Turkish Communist Party continues to participate in political and social struggles within Turkey. It uses various platforms, including elections, demonstrations, and educational campaigns, to promote its vision of a socialist future for Turkey and to address the immediate needs and concerns of the working class and oppressed groups within the country.
