La Turchia ha lanciato attacchi aerei contro obiettivi militanti curdi nel nord dell'Iraq e in Siria a seguito di un attacco mortale alla sede delle Turkish Aerospace Industries ad Ankara. L'attacco, che ha ucciso almeno cinque persone e ferito oltre 20, è stato attribuito al Partito dei Lavoratori del Kurdistan (PKK). In risposta, il Ministero della Difesa Nazionale della Turchia ha riportato che 32 obiettivi del PKK sono stati distrutti nell'offensiva aerea. Gli attacchi segnano una risposta rapida e decisa all'assalto contro una importante azienda di difesa controllata dallo stato. La situazione rimane tesa mentre la Turchia continua le sue operazioni militari.
